Article I. IN GENERAL |
§ 12-14. Unnecessary use of horns; use of sirens, loudspeakers, etc., restricted; excessive noise prohibited.
(a)
It shall be unlawful for any person to unnecessarily blow any horn or unnecessarily use any other sound signal.
(b)
It shall be unlawful for any person to use a cutout exhaust whistle, loudspeaker or siren in the operation of a motor vehicle in the city, except the operator of an authorized emergency vehicle in an actual emergency.
(c)
It shall be unlawful for any person in the operation of a motor vehicle to cause or allow any loud, excessive or unusual noise in the operation or use of such motor vehicle upon any of the streets of the city.
