§ 12-135. Defrauding, injuring or tampering with parking meters or deactivation bags.

(a)

It shall be unlawful to attempt or achieve the defrauding of the parking meter by means of slugs, machines, or by any electronic, magnetic or other means.

(b)

It shall be unlawful for any person to deface or tamper with, damage, open, break, destroy or impair the usefulness of any parking meter or deactivation bag installed pursuant to this chapter.
