§ 12-150.2. Courtesy amount.

The courtesy payment amount for violations shall be $30.00, except in the matters of parking too near a fire hydrant which shall be $50.00 and unlawful parking in a handicapped zone, which shall be $200.00. Payment for a violation shall be remitted within 30 days of issuance of the citation. The traffic citation authorized herein shall also contain a warning that if the reduced bond required by the citation is not posted within 30 days, it shall be increased by an additional 30.00 on the late assessment. On the 31 ^st day after issuance, a late charge assessment of $30.00 shall be added to the amount of the citation. Soon thereafter a notice of amount due shall be sent to the owner indicating that the full remittance of the original amount plus the late charge assessment is due within 15 days of the date of the notice. On the forty-fifth day after issuance and nonpayment, a warrant for parking violations may be issued or the city may invoke any remedy permitted by law for debt collection, or vehicle impoundment or immobilization.
