§ 14-233. Responsibility.

The police department is responsible for the enforcement and training on how to conduct convenience store inspections; inspection of security standards and devices required by law; and the provision of a model robbery deterrence and safety training program for owners and employees of convenience businesses. The owner is deemed to have authority and the operator/employee (to the extent of their authority to implement the measures) are jointly and severally responsible for compliance with the requirements set forth. It shall be a misdemeanor for any person to fail to comply with the safety requirements.
