§ 20.5-3. Requirement of city's consent.

(a)

Every telecommunications provider that utilizes a telecommunications facility to provide services within the city must first obtain a city business license. Every telecommunications provider must also obtain consent or a franchise from the city in accordance with this chapter in order to construct, maintain, or operate any facilities within, on, over or under any city street. Prior to providing any telecommunications service or constructing or utilizing any telecommunications facility, the provider must provide a written acceptance of the terms and conditions of this chapter.
