§ 4-9. Animals restricted in special events.

No owner or keeper shall permit an animal, whether restrained or not, to be in an area in which a special event is being held pursuant to a special event permit issued under this Code, unless the event permit specifically authorizes animals. This section does not apply to an assistance animal or animal used in law enforcement activities. Owners shall be subject to arrest and the animal may be impounded.
