§ 13-5. Interaction with other governmental offices.

  • The municipal court under the supervision of the chief administrative municipal judge shall receive and provide communications with the state and its agencies, courts, offices of county government, the city council, the city manager, other departments of city government, attorneys practicing before the municipal court, and members of the public who became subject to the jurisdiction of the municipal court in a manner which complies with the law governing such communications, including the Rules of Professional Conduct and Rules For Judicial Disciplinary Enforcement. The municipal court shall issue its orders, directives and policies under this chapter to comply with the statutes, regulations, ordinances and policies otherwise governing the operation of those governments, agencies, courts, and departments. Municipal offices shall receive and provide communications with the municipal court in a manner consistent with the provisions of this chapter.
