§ 13-7. Control of court and courtrooms.

  • The chief administrative municipal judge shall have control of the court, courtrooms, and conduct of all persons in or about the court and courtrooms to the extent necessary for the court to be conducted in a courteous, orderly and efficient manner. No person, appointed or otherwise, shall fail or refuse to obey the orders and directives given by the chief administrative municipal judge under this section. In the performance of these duties, the municipal judge may call any police officer assigned to the court by the chief of police to aid the court. Any police officer assigned to the court shall comply with the orders and directives given by the municipal judge under this section.
